Whew!  Where does the time go?  It seems like only yesterday that I had the honor of serving the people of District 81 in the Montana House of Representatives.  Since that time, so much has happened:  two summers have passed and we are now poised for another spectacular Montana fall.

Fall also means that the November general election is just around the corner.  I am running for my second term in the legislature because I believe progressive government can and does make a real difference in the lives of our citizens.  I want to continue my service to help ensure we continue to responsibly grow our communities and provide good jobs at high-paying wages while at the same time protecting our clean air, pure water and the open spaces that make Helena and Montana the best place in the world to live.

One of the great things about serving in the Montana House is that districts are sized so that candidates are able to meet their constituents at their doors and visit with them personally about their thoughts and concerns.  That's why I am committed to running an aggressive, people-to-people campaign between now and the general election.

But only with your help. The reality of political campaigns today – even on the legislative level – is that they have become extremely expensive and time consuming.

I understand that during this busy general election season, there are many demands on your financial resources, but your timely contribution is essential to getting my message out to the voters in my district.  A return envelope has been provided for your convenience, and I promise that each and every penny of your hard-earned contribution will be spent wisely.
